Love (Part 2)

During this season of advent we see a lot of love.  How can we love patiently? One can think that it is not possible to be patient with love. How many of us are patient with love? It doesn’t matter if you are married, single or had a dispute within your family. We all have to be patient with love.  We also have to be kind.  Some may struggle with being kind in general! Right! Sometimes it can be just in that split of a second and we’ve left a bad taste in someone’s mouth. How often do leave people with bad expressions? We have to treat people the way we want to be treated.  It’s hard in today’s society with everything on social media. People are struggling more now than before. With people expressing every emotion on social media we no longer have conversations to heal the process. Where are we headed? God is our healing source so we have to look towards him to meet all of our needs. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 says,”Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.”
So we have to remember Christ who loved us and died for us all. We have to love like Christ. Be patient, kind, not rude, not even boastful or jealous but loving who ever to needs to be loved. Family is important during this season. With a lot of death around us we have to cherish our loved ones now while we are all still here. Remember to pray that when the time comes for truth we will all celebrate with our Heavenly Father. Amen

Love

Love is one of most the powerful gifts God has given to us share with the world. How we choose to use this gift is up to you & me. Now, we are all guilty of choosing not to show people love for whatever reason.  It could be things we are going through or even a personal reason why. It could be that same reason on why the world is the way it is now. We often opt out of our responsibility as Christians to show love regardless what people say or do.  We have become very sensitive to what people say or do to us. 1 Corinthians 13:1-2 says,”If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.”  How the world sees us is as those noisy gongs or clanging cymbals because we refuse to love others despite their backgrounds.  How has God chosen to love you regardless your situation? We have to be of one sound and mind to be in tune to today’s world. Some of us have that special gift of prophecy and most off have powerful faith, but if you and could move mountains but can’t show love to anyone we are nothing!  We have to show the world why God sent his Son to die for us all. Today show love to your neighbor, loved one, friend or co-worker.
