As Christians, many of us have suffered for doing what’s right. So why do we panic at a time when things in the world are bad, knowing God will reward us for being obedient?  Now is a time for us all to renew our spirits and minds with Christ. As 1 Peter 3:13-16 says “Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.”  We have to live a holy life, showing respect and representing God for who died for us all. We can no longer be worried or concerned with what the enemy is doing around us.  Satan has no power or control over our lives if we don’t allow it. Today, worship Christ for your suffering for doing right and that will lead to an eternal life with him.

Don’t Criticize Each Other

“Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. For instance, one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables.”Romans 14:1-2 NLT

Criticize
to express disapproval of (someone or something) : to talk about the problems or faults of (someone or something)
: to look at and make judgments about (something, such as a piece of writing or a work of art)

We are always making the same mistakes over and over. When a major tragedy or bad things happen in the world, most of us respond in a negative manner, showing our disapproval of the world’s view. How many of us know people that no matter what you say or do they always will express your faults? Probably many of us. But how do you react to the criticism? In Romans 14 says “Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. For instance, one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables.” As believers of Christ we are too obedient to the word of God. Many of the people that will criticize you and I are looking for an argument. Sometimes we are caught off guard with their mindless intentions. But God is looking at us to be mature Christians, to accept those who are weak in faith. How have you been tested in your faith? Today, ignore criticism that has bad intentions and instead embrace the word of God and be an example.
